Not sure what to tell you.
The indie business has been thriving, so have you looked there?
Stuff like Bastion, Transistor, Antichamber, Stanley Parable, Jazzpunk, Pillars of Eternity and South Park: Stick of Truth (ok that one isn't really indie).
