Hackers got nude photos of celebrities from the cloud

Is it even clear how they got the data? I hear there was a leak and that they had keys/codes/what ever and it wasn't a leak at all o.O

From what I've gathered it's:

Celebs back up photos to iCloud
Hackers target individual celebs as opposed to mass searching the cloud
Hackers brute force celeb info
Hackers have access to celeb's backed up photos

Apple said they looked into it and found nothing on their end which leads people to believe that it was purely brute force and bad password combos on the celebs part

Can you just imagine Jennifer Lawrence's password being something like "katniss111" or something haha

Hacking private photos... Isn't Just illegal it's Farking creepy.

Btw: Some celebrities are claiming that... they deleted the photos a long time ago, but somehow didn't disappear.
Even some of the photos are completely fake ! xD

Yea, knowing that some sleazeball got your private data, it can be considered creepy.
