Not knowing why him/her/they did it is killing me. Also people are going crazy with conspiracy theories already and I am slowly losing hope for my children's generation.

Well, It only took one conspiracy theorist "30 minutes after Monday’s attacks" to assume it was an inside job.

Re: Explosions at Boston Marathon
So the bombs were hidden in backpacks, look how dangerous backpacks can be!
Anyone, even a kid can go to a store and purchase one of those items, and easily hide anything from guns to bombs in them. I think we should start a petition to ban backpacks and make our country safer. We shouldn't have to be going about our business and see a backpack sitting alone on the ground somewhere, and wonder if there's a bomb in it. Or if the backpack on someones arm is hiding a gun inside. Together we can rid our country of backpacks once and for all.

Not really. At least when it's a shooting you know who did it.
*BlackFox wrote:Well, It only took one conspiracy theorist "30 minutes after Monday’s attacks" to assume it was an inside job.
Well anyone can assume that even straight away. But there is definitely quite a bit fishy here.

Yea, I mean those bombs had nothing to do with it or anything.
I have spent the past day laughing at people comparing this to gun control.

Guys, I don't think DJ was being serious...
Planned controlled explosion on that very same street, people on the rooftops, bomb squads and telling everyone to keep calm because it's a drill.

Nope, it was the backpacks at fault, they are what concealed the bombs.
Cmon aventus, your just a guy who sees things for the practical uses. Backpacks are used to put things in, obviously those things can be dangerous, ergo backpacks are dangerous!

From what I saw in the article the "thugs" said nothing about the bombings or revenge, maybe they just wanted to beat an Arab.
Oh, and he was at Applebees and none of their TVs were on the news? Suck a dick.

Re: Explosions at Boston Marathon
Your comparing gun violence to a bombing, guns are legal bombs are not its that simple. The government can't take away rights to own a bomb or make a bomb when it's not a right to begin with.

In other news 2 miles away from the bomb site a security guard was shot on MIT's campus. You figure the city would be on lockdown.

It's those idiots who come up with really ridiculous stuff that help add this negative undertone to conspiracy theory. Why do people believe everything they are told by authorities and never consider the possibilities.- Majorharper

I'm still open to the possibility.. of conspiracy theories. lulzSanktum wrote:Why do people believe everything they are told by authorities and never consider the possibilities.
But using tragedies... such as the Boston Marathon as a hoax/staged etc..
Well, It's getting too far.

Sanktum why is it so hard to believe that they would prepare for a bombing at an event that attracts 20k+ runners and 500k spectators.

Re: Explosions at Boston Marathon
Current reports indicate the suspects are two brothers:
Tamerlan Tsarnaev, 26 years of age. Died of wounds.
Dzhokhar Tsarnaev, 19 years of age. Still at large.
News reports are saying they are originally from the Caucasus with Chechnya being the most frequently cited region, but Kazakhstan has also been mentioned.
