So proud to be a part of this community, sadly it's not my homepage because I value Google much more but it's still high up there on my favourites. Though I don't post that much I do like to read most threads.

Re: SRF dead?
Lot of factors here. Myself included.
But nothing we do on the forum will make Silkroad Online be a better game that will attract heaps of new players who need to use general discussion, characters and skills, guides and tutorials. Most of the people here don't even play it anymore, or not with much frequency. I leave the light on for people, as few as it may be.
Another bit is, this site isn't especially nice to new people who have questions. Its more like "get off my lawn" because we don't like idiot noobs who have questions for GD. We are going to focus on that more this year.
Sorta like this

Re: SRF dead?
but vegeta you do ask for it...
i have stopped helping people because whats the point... all they do is either bot or quit before they can get high enough to enough the game, so why bother telling people. In all of sro there is probably about 10 people who would be dedicated to go 1-120 in sro and i doubt they would even get to 120 because bots would start to pk them like they did to me and my guildies on uranus.

Re: SRF dead?
I actually don't understand what everyone is so worried about. Are there fewer members than in years past? Sure. Has the quality of the members gone down? Hell no. If anything, it's gone up. I'd rather have a smaller community, filled (for the most part) incredibly funny/intelligent people. Than have a large community where 90% of the people are dumbasses.

I actually agree with this... The admins and mods would have A LOT more work to do if it were the case in the last part of what Tasdik said.
Re: SRF dead?
The game has deteriorated so bad it's hard to offer any help to new people that come here looking for assistance...especially when some of them are naively and unwittingly asking for help with their bot program....99% of the current SRO community bots and thinks its a natural part of the game...Their naivety often leads to a ban on their very first post when they come here looking for help....which is kinda funny to see....which in turn affect SRF's population...That's how deep in a shit hole SRO has sunk..... Also...most of us don't play SRO anymore so we can't really offer any solid and reliable support for the people with legitimate queries....

This. Also, I believe that SRF still has a few more years left in her.

Maybe for you, but as mentioned it's the other way around to describe it as a whole.

everytime ive visited that site its over run with kids wanting hacks or bots or cheats. when it comes to actual in game talk they are clueless... epvp to me is a collection of script kiddies trying to cheat in every game because its "too hard"
