I dont believe people that think there is an excuse for this behavior is acceptable or necessary for any reason what-so-ever.
Now i would agree to a prison sentence but seeing as prison in the UK is a joke (if you were in jail for something like this you would be given food and drinks (even alcohol), tv with digital, access to the internet, time to see friends and family often given weekends to go home to visit children and such, an education as part of this scheme to get prisoners into a job after prison and sometimes they even get to live in like... a retirement home but with a prison guard. No gates or locks on doors. No tagging, no restrictions on going out (as long as its in the day time)

jail in the uk is a fking joke for the most part. Because "Torture" cant be trusted to give what the prisoner did to get into prison, this means torture is also not allowed (even if the prisoner is a proven serial child rapist who has slashed his victims or mutilated people or whatever...)

so if torture was allowed in reason then id say that but otherwise i see no other punishment for people who choose to abuse this amazing opportunity.

Gary Brisco said his 22-year-old son Jonathan was in Boston celebrating a friend’s birthday when traffic backed up in the garage and mayhem broke out.
“It was over just gridlock in a high-rise parking garage and someone beeped the horn,” said Gary Brisco.
Gary Brisco said the beeping unleashed the fury of the crowd. The violent attack lasted about 4 minutes.
“I seen when the guys were actually getting at each other. I don’t know what started it or how it ended, but I seen them in the rumble,” said a witness, who quickly left the area.
Others who heard of the fight were not surprised and guessed the punches were fueled by alcohol.
Police are looking for people involved in a brawl inside a Boston parking garage. They are also looking for the person who recorded the video.

Not really, Los Angeles has a riot every year when they win/lose a championship game. Besides if I got my ass beat for calling someone a derogatory name or slur I would defiantly not go telling my dad that is why it happened, I would lie. difference is guns are used to kill people for no reason.
Torture as a punishment by court is for a reason and yes hooking a man up to a car battery who has raped 20 children at the age of 5 is certainly ok.

BOSTON (CBS) – A man who was injured in a brawl at a Boston parking garage says he and his friends could have been killed.

Jonathan Brisco has a black eye and six stitches after the vicious attack that happened early Sunday morning at the Transportation Building garage. Under advisement from lawyers, he could not say much, but his father is speaking out about the incident.

“I’m thankful he’s alive,” says Jonathan’s father Gary.

He and two friends were brutally beaten by a mob and the video was posted on the website WorldStarHipHop.com.

“It was a vicious brutal attack, they were relentless, they were cowards and they kept beating them,” said Gary. “I don’t think they value life.”

One of Jonathan’s friends suffered a broken arm, chipped tooth and a concussion. The third friend was also beaten.

The fight started over beeping horns in the parking lot gridlock. Gary says, “Someone beeped a horn, next thing you know they got 27 guys beating them and they’re in fear for their lives.”

The family hopes the video leads to arrests.

“It’s horrifying, it’s shocking,” Gary says. “I haven’t been right since. I’m nauseous; my blood pressure is through the roof I’m sick to my stomach about it.”
