They use babies as drug mules. What's stopping them from blowing up a 3-year-old? As much as I hate the thought of airport pat downs, we are constantly reminded that people will try to find a way to cause civilian casualties. Unfortunately, we are left in a very uncomfortable position -- between a deprived power-tripping asshole and a homicidal religious extremist.

You guys point out very disturbing incidents caused by the TSA. I completely agree with your views on these cases; however, you must apply the fact that with any group people there will always be those who will act out inappropriately (extremists). I fly frequently in the US and I can tell you I've never had any problems with the security. You shouldn't judge the TSA as a whole because of the acts of a few asshole employees, just as you shouldn't judge islamic religion based on the action of a few extremists. I'm not denying these horrible things didn't happen, but from my point of view as a frequent flyer I can see that the TSA as a whole has very legitimate goals and means achieving them.
