Nothin much. Just finished FMA Brotherhood. Haven't really had any animes to look forward to in such a long time.

theres a few things this season that seem alright, Highschool of the dead is staying pretty true to the manga. Amagami is alright (not sure if its to your taste though). And mitsudomoe is actually pretty funny (comedy, not moe). also watching ookami-san and strike witches, which isn't all to great.

only thing from the past season i'd suggest is tatami galaxy (my sig is very relevant), it actually comes out with a satisfying end.

vague answer really, a lot of it is outsourced to south korea now, but i would say if its made by asians and originally aired in japan, then its anime. otherwise no.
