I hope you're talking about Spongebob in your avatar. If you seriously think someone who sexually assaults/rapes others as a stud... I rarely say this, but I hope you burn in hell.

Have all persons assaulted report it to the police and or sue, /done. If that doesn't work you are very much out of luck couse you then live and operate under a corrupted system in which case the least of your problems would be some "douche" saying nice rack.

this is what you need to do:

1. get proof via pictures, sound, video
2. make copies of proof
3. annonymously spread proof to teachers and kids.
4. make a facebook club with said proof with a title of teachers name/ location etc.
( do so without giving any information as to who did so)
5. go to a internet cafe and spread the info everywhere you can think of.
6. i;ll add more when i can think of

Well I'm saying rumor's since I didn't hear/see it firsthand, but I highly doubt multiple teachers and students claiming they were sexually harassed has a false basis.

Think about it. They have families, think how that would affect their husbands, sons, daughters. Moms sometime take the burden on themselves when they think it could harm their family. Also he preys on the shy ones.

Sounds like a load of shit to me.

If nobody's doing anything there's a good chance they're just trying to ruin his reputation. So far all you know is there's a lot of people who could simply dislike the guy and make things up about him.

+1; even if he was sexually harassing other faculty he would've been reported to the board, the dean, etc., or even the police at least once, even if he was intimidating his "victims." I'd expect the younger women, i.e., students to probably not report, but other faculty. They wouldn't stand for that shit.

-1; they have. That's why all incoming grad students are given a warning about him, and the department has a rule that he can no longer have a female student alone in his office and his door must be opened at all times. They have brought it to the school's attention before, it just seems that either he's too well connected, or the school enjoys his monthly gifts.

Also, i'm still looking for the article. It seems there was something in the paper published, but it got dismissed due to 9/11. I haven't had a chance yet, but I'll see if I can make the trip and find it. If I do, i'll post it here among other places.

Btw, that's not slander is it. If i post something that was published and printed a few years back.

Form a protest or something, goddamn.

Why are you worried about slander? It's justified.

Only people within the major know about it. It's a pretty small department with probably around 100 students or so. It's probably why he hasn't been thrown into the spotlight yet.

I agree with the most recent posts. No school would allow this kind of thing to happen. What especially makes me wonder is that speech bull shit. No way. A school would never be this aware of a problem and not do anything about it. Especially one that could potentially be illegal considering you can enter college when you are 17 making you a minor and therefore "jailbait."

But w/e I think there is a reason you aren't telling us everything. Because you know the complete ignorance of the whole situation and want to save yourself the embarrassment of possibly going to school with someone here.

BTW I'm not in college but I'm still here so :slap:

Welcome to college. Money talks. My school recently built a new chemistry building. One guy funded most of it. He invented a major cancer-fighting drug. There was a fight between him and the department, he pulled out ALL of his funding. The building is still there, but half-ass. It looks nice, but you can tell it didn't turn out well at all.

I can totally see a major university trying to shove things under a fancy carpet for as long as they can.

I don't really care if you believe me or not, I know people that do. I just wanted to see if this has happened elsewhere, i'm sure it has, and to start getting people to talk to others and learn about their surroundings. Ignorance is not bliss this day and age.

I'm not putting myself at risk until I find something truly hardcore. Until than, i'll just say what I know.

A solution to ignorance is to question everything, and arrive at a conclusion yourself. This is why I'm questioning everything you have and will post on this subject. So far it's just been hearsay. There's no substantiated evidence whatsoever.

I don't know what kind of backward community this is supposedly happening in, but it doesn't make any sense that a university would allow for this type of behavior regardless of whoever is doing said behavior; if word got out that there's an "actual" sexual predator on the loose on the university grounds and they're in the employment of that university, and even said university has done absolutely nothing worthy of note with the fact they KNEW about previous activities beforehand, and have only made up some half-assed, flimsy rules--which sound made up anyways--it'd only make the university receive a really bad reputation, and they'd possibly lose possible undergraduates in the future; i.e., money. It'd just be easier for the university to nip the problem in the bud before it sprouts and some serious legal issues arise.

I'm sorry, this all smells just too "conspiracy," rather than what's actually going on.

I think warning every student about him, and the dept. forcing him to have his door open with female students would count as being in the "spotlight."

People either know or they don't. I can't see how they couldn't in these circumstances.

I just don't get how you're having trouble with this.

Goseki if you really want to do something about this then you should try approaching some of people that this guy harassed. Ask them if they would be willing to anonymously convey their encounter with this man to the local press. If this college gets placed in the public eye for failing to dealing with this then something will get done for sure.

This professor you said brings in a lot of money for the college and if the college cares more about money then they will have to respond to clean this up if it gets to the local news. Their intake wont be has high if they don't.
