But, if your height affects the gravity alot, when you're just a chunk of skin how will it still be enough to pull you appart, or even less than a chunk of skin, because then your height wouldn't be as big therefore the gravity wouldn't be so much, right? or am I missing something

Well, you are falling toward the black hole. The closer you get to the black hole the more the gravity affects you. I'm not sure, but I think that would negate the effect.
