Im going to defend mine and last time i check what has your relgion done? Mine helps poor incent people from going hungery and dying what about yours?

See thats the thing, you'll give a poor person a loaf of bread and then tell him to convert to your church while your at it. Religion's mindset that its "us versus everyone else" is why its so bad.

Religion is legit as long as you respect other religions and accept the fact that its impossible for the rest of the 6 billion humans on earth to all believe in the same god.

I never said religion is completely bad. Churches are bad when they impose their beliefs on everyone else.

And telling people to join their church isn't old school. What do you think missionaries are for? Some of my friends go on missionaries to africa and even syria (they syria part was the lamest. I mean going to a muslim country and then telling them to convert to christianity? Thats like going to the ghetto in detroit and saying the n-word out loud. I was actually fearful for my friend's life) and I hear about those events every other year or so. Now giving aid and food is very very unselfish and good, but handing bibles out at the same time you're giving them bread?

^lol this local church used to keep sending letters to our house and one day this couple came knocking and told us to become Christians. When my sister told them we were already hindus, they said "no no, Christianity better!"
My dad told em to fck off and they didn't send letters anymore =P

yeah, the christian religion went through a period of convert or die, as the islam religion is going through now.

odd thing is that the time from christ to the period of extremist christainity is about the same as the time from Muhammad to its current extremist muslim period.
