Mostly because it seems like every step the government takes is a wrong one. It's embarrassing calling myself a Canadian when every action that is taken by the conservatives and the Liberals is throwing us away from what we used to be.

War in afghanistan, failure to try and push for environmental change, stopping Omar Khadr from settling back in Canada, constant hypocrisy, for example criticizing China during the Summer Olympics but then detaining Journalists if they are expected to talk negatively on our Olympics, ect. Nothing seems to be done right, and all there is is political games and back and forth.

And what's sad is that the people who are in power are supported by 65+% of Canadians. What's there to be proud of?
