Think it depends on how much damage he has done to your car, if it is a lot of damage, report him and say you want him to pay for the repair to your car.

If the damage isn't that bad and you are able to live with it, wait for awhile before keying his car.. I say wait, because if you do it so soon after then he might know its you.
