OT: If you were hallucinating that you were in the same room, then it was probably sleep paralysis. One of my cousins and my girlfriend gets those sometimes. Kind of scary whenever my girlfriend wakes me up because of the noise during a sleep paralysis and she couldn't breath or move.

Once, my cousin told me he was hallucinating that he was seeing a bunch of shadowy figures holding him down and he couldn't move nor breath. I choke during my sleep and could not breath for a minute because of my epiglottis sometimes but that's a different case.

I'm 19 and if you get over I dunno...15 or something you shouldn't need naps at all. And before that maybe if you want to stay up late, I wont lie. I used to sleep a few hours when I was young for new year and party's etc but now? Seriously, if you get a good 7/8 hour sleep you shouldn't need nap time.

Are you not in college yet? You'll see. I have 8am classes and with studying, parties, sports, working out, etc, sleep is hard to come by. So, when I don't get a full 7-8hrs because I had to stay up debugging a program until 3am and then get up at 7am to get ready for my 8am class, then spend all day in classes until 4pm... yeah, a little nap when I get home is nice.

Yes but the last night I got a good 7/8 hours of sleep was maybe the first weekend of summer before I started work. I get up around 6 am every morning and am up usually till around midnight doing school stuff. Five and a half hours of mediocre sleep couple with some hard classes = Napping

Seriously though, I wish I didn't need naps and got a good 8 hours of sleep each night, that'd be awesome.

Lol it's pretty weird when you wake up but you can't feel your hand and it's all limp. It's like someone's arm is attached to your body. Doesn't happen often but when it does, I move my shoulder back and forth and let the limp arm flop around like a dead eel.

Only lasts about 30 seconds though.

Lol happened to me few times xD I woke up late in the night and figured that I dont feel my arm :s I started searching for it around(yea lol) and when I saw it I grabbed it with other hand and started shaking it xD It was pretty hillarious next morning when I figured out what I was doing :s

Ive had that too... but I wasnt dreaming I was awake and couldnt even open my eyes. then my phone rang and I could finally get up but it was sooo scary

same thing happens to me, only difference is my hallucination is the demonic girl from the Exorcist, with a big smile on her face. she keeps staring at me and i keep hearing demonic jibberish in my head, i'm awake when it happens but i can't move my arms or anything. it only lasts for a couple minutes, but it's a struggle to snap out of it. scary shit.
i always have those when i stay awake overnight and decide to take a nap.

sometimes i wake up and can't move my left arm. and i sleep on my right side. so i take my right arm and use it to move my left arm up onto my pillow. feels like its broken or something. first time it happened i called for my mom to drive me to hospital.

Lol, damn you xD I was waking up maybe 10 times this night and I was opening slowly my eyes expecting to see some demon or alien xD but first I was trying to see can I move xD

I got many sleep paralysis, and two scariest that I remember very well.
One: im in bed, eyes opened, see the face of a demon from Hell (Doom) 5 cm away of my face. He is watching me...
Two: i sleep in daytime, an invisible orb vibrates and makes strange sound, in front of my face, trying to tell me smt. My head also strongly vibrates.

And the third one, not scary but it lasts like 15-20s, a lot longer than any previous paralysis, happens in the last state of astral projection. It seems like my consciousness is stuck between sleep and awake.
