sorry but your talking bull the shoes are no different in most cases but you paid more so your mind expects them to be better.

what kind of materials do you think are used and how expensive are those materials? i doubt they cost much

I buy shoes to fit my needs. Someone who casually commutes may or may not notice a difference. I do my share of commuting as well but I also use them to play basketball a few hours everyday creating a lot of wear and tear on the shoes. The cheap basketball shoes tear quicker and they become soft very fast. I need my shoes to still look brand new and be comfortable after a year of use. I don't know what material Nike uses but I buy their shoes because they last the longest out of the brands that I've tried and they are usually the only brand that make basketball shoes that are visually appealing to me.
