@Nantosh - hardtail means a fork with no suspension, doesn't have anything to do with pegs or anything. BMXes are hardtail, this bike is also hardail

Yep BMX is for whole different kind of cycling.

Im into cycling too and cycle a lot in summer. But I won't go that extreme (I have a MTB bike so it wouldn't be possible for me anyway). I can make some jumps and drops but that's it.

That guy is just amazing. I loved the back flip using tree as a base. Gonna watch some more vids from him --->

No, a hardtail does have suspension in the fork.

And no, BMXes are not hardtails.

Oh I see my mistake now, yea hardtails HAVE suspension on the fork, but they don't have a rear suspension, that's the meaning of the word hardtail, again I'm sorry for my mistake but you are still wrong. BMXes ARE hardtails cause they don't have a rear suspension. The bike from the video is also a hardtail, no one would ride a double suspension bike to do street or trials riding

To be considered a hardtail, you need suspension in the front, but no rear suspension.

∴ BMX ≠ Hardtail

@Nantosh

I'm quite sure its not a hardtail lol.
I rewatched it a million and didn't see any give at the front.

I know nothing about this hardtail thing but I can say that the bike used in that video is not BMX.

Yah, re-watching it now, and paying extra attention to the bike it's self...
Well, it's not a hardtail then. Hell, I don't even know what it's called now.
A bike? :P

Lol guys this discussion is stupid
the bike the guy is riding just doesn't have front or rear suspension, stop arguing about the hardtail thingy lolz.
It's some sort of mountainbike/trail-bike, downhill-ish (without the suspension ofc lolz).
Definately not a BMX (I used to do bmx myself  )

The bike seems pretty much custom work. The frame resembles the frame of MTB bike. But the fork is replaced with fork whitout springs. The control bar goes 360 degrees also. Wheels are pretty small compared to MTB bikes.

It has nothing to do with mountain biking, and I won't even start about downhill. It's a pure trials bike and is ONLY used to do that kind of tricks. Downhill is also a different riding style:D And the abillity go rotate the bar 360 and hard forks are not necessarily custom cause it's required to be like that in trials riding

I didn't say it has something to do with downhill biking itself, it's just kinda similar to a downhill bike, cuz they're kinda flat.
