What do you think it takes to protect our country? Having tea parties with Iranians? Its people dying for what they love. If you dont care about it then shut up.

Easy there Conan.. And GO GRIM? You think I say things like that because I want to get heard so badly?

Immediately disband the Army? Man that sounds like a very bad idea, doesn't that normally happen in phases over very long extended periods of time? I can't believe you would suggest that. Gosh, contributing your opinion about war is almost as bad as trying to reason with religious people.

You said: Its people dying for what they love.

Yes. But it shouldn't cost them their lives, it shouldn't leave their families behind being wrecked with grief over the loss of their irreplaceable son or daughter. Who got send out to a war on the other side of the world where they have no business whatsoever. And for what, to protect America's freedom? To protect the beliefs and rights of millions of people? Or to die in a needless battle because politicians refuse to see eye to eye? Where brave young men get abused and manipulated because they think they are being selected because their country needs them. Please, how brave as they may be, they are wasting their lives away as bullet fodder. Do you know what happens to a soldier who's fallen in combat? In the end of all the drama with the family, arrangements, payed tribute? He is nothing more then a statistic to the U.S Army.. For every man woman or child that dies in a war, we should be ashamed. Because I believe we should have evolved beyond that ridiculous crap a long time ago. But we are humans and the ones who want peace are being ignored or held back. Whether you are American, Russian, Canadian or Dutch, Chinese or Japanese. The moment someone dies in a war. We should be ashamed.

Because it's another life wasted, which otherwise could be saved.

I hope your being sarcastic...in no way was I suggesting we should disband the Military. I stated that in the response to you complaining so much about how bad it is so why not just disband it is what I interpreted from your statement.

Back in WW1 Australian soldiers lost their lives in order to make Australia a free country. When war happens, there's always going to be someone dead. (duh  ) I'd like to see how great USA does without an Army... I can't imagine Americans just sitting there on their couches or McDonalds chilling, eating while they're being bombed by Iran... then again if someone like you runs the country, it's plausible.

You know, usually I tend to agree with your points. But this is just flat out stupid. No country would do great without an army, so your point is a hundred percent invalid. Also, get your stupid stereotypical mindset of americans being lazy out of your head. What your comedy shows and videos is biased, like any comedy act is most of the time. I can walk into my school, my town, even a city, and see MUCH larger percent of fit people compared to overweight people. Its like any other country saying you all live have no importance to the rest of the world, and everyone always forgets about your country. Also, guess what, people die for what they believe in all the time. Australia isn't the first to fight for their freedom...

Grim is acting like he wants there to be no Army... Army in Australia is something 1 in 5 people do when they leave school. People want to defend their country with their lives, let them. I know not all Americans are lazy, though I never said they were lazy. I simply said they sitting on their couches while they're being bombed because they can't defend themselves without an army!

Sure, there's more fit people than there is overweight, but who cares about fit people! They're your average Joe, they tend to focus on fat or underweight people.

Clearly Australians aren't the first people to fight for freedom, but I using my country as an example of fighting for the benefit of the people who weren't fighting or were too young to fight. People who were 16 years old were pretending to be the age to join the army so they could fight in defense of the British! Grim says because politicians refuse to see eye to eye... not every country is going to see eye to eye with YOU, so you can't necessarily see eye to eye with them. If they attack you, are you going to send their President emails asking him nicely to stop attacking you. NO YOU'RE GOING TO FIGHT BACK!

You believe it's alright to treat humans in such a way? which are sad, but unfortunate and necessary sacrifices to maintain or fight for peace? Which actually is the duty of men and woman which we ourselves keep in power, and depend on to enforce from the start?

Yes. Tragic isn't it? It's like high school, only the bully's wear suits and carry bigger pencils.

You know I love you Grimmy. Australia also kinda wanted to join WW1 in the defense of the British to show we're not just a big island in the pacific. When they came home, (the ones that lived) they weren't exactly treated like the hero's they're now considered. That's the only part I disagree with. People weren't forced to join the army, they did so off their own free will.

I still gonna join the army anyway :p. Americans should be proud of their Army. They don't always have to fight to prove their power, it's almost a reputation now. Most country's wouldn't dare attack USA on home soil because they would lose!
