Re: Xp vs Vista Ultimate
Yea I'd really like opinions from those who have experienced both OS hands-on. And yes I have 6gb ram total. DDR2 is cheap these days. What is it you liked/hated about Vista compared to XP? Performance? User Interface?

Most retarded idea ever. If you don't like Vista you wont like Windows 7, its exactly the same except for the shape of the toolbar. You'll all still be moaning that 'it reduces your performance'. You can't live on XP forever

To be honest. With a quad core and 6gb of ram, I don't know why your still debating about it. Your comp (unless your running XP Pro 64bit (which is a mess)) is only using max 4gb of your ram (most probably about 3.5gb). Get Ultimate 64bit install NAWWWWWWW.
Ooh, I got a sexy ex-staff title!

Xp looks like ME, is it the same?
It's just a guess. And who says that everything has to be the same? WinMe->WinXP they maybe improved the design, WinVista->Win7 they will most probably improve the speed of execution? You can't really know what they are doing this time till they release it.

Please don't put words in my mouth. I never said i don't like Vista, I just rather wait for the "final" version.
