No matter what, it was a good World Cup.. in a way.

Both Teams played with heart, and i'm sad to see Netherlands didn't win, but happy to see that Spain did.

Hope everyone watched it in a good place, i watched it at my hotel in Melbourne, but i wasnt the only one up at like 4am waiting for the cup.

IT was funny as complete strangers came together in aggony and cheers for the cup.

Now, i am happy that Vuvuzelas will no longer be a nightly thing ringing in my ear.

@Key-J it was the worst world cup I've ever seen and I think everybody agrees with this. Referees just failed too much and decided too many matches. Vuvuzela was freakin' annoying too, not just for us but for the players aswell. The ball was damn bad, it was tested that over 77km/h it turns into shit and noone can tell where it is going to fly. The weather was terrible aswell not to mention the state of some football fields.

The only positive thing that I can tell about this World Cup is that not the football stars decided the matches. Ronaldo, Messi, Rooney and all the other famous guis went home. Torres had an injury and Robben was always rollin' somewhere on the field.

I hardly disagree with you. This wasn't a good World Cup. This World Cup had nice moments, some nice matches but that's all.

If he was bought he would have given De Jong a straight red for sure (tbh, I'm still not sure why he didn't in any case). Also, there were like 5 Villa breakouts on the edge of off side, if they were bought they would've let one slip.
Was a serious chance for a penalty for Spain as well. If he had been 'bought' these things are the things he can do to favor Spain. Not giving a corner to Holland has to be the most pathetic, or brilliant, bribed referee-move. I'm not buying that he has been bribed.
