I highly doubt its dropped by almost every DJ. strobe is really the only thing of his i can listen to.

the problem is, all of his shit sounds way too similar.

and i think its funny what prerequisites you are setting for someone to be a fan of something.

Been to a rave? I have. Multiple. Pretty much any DJ who isn't already top 10-20 will drop Ghosts n Stuff.

Strobe is fcking legendary, simple as that.

It sort of does. Which, as much as I hate it, is why David Guetta is up as high as he is. Armin is the god of all modern trance, there's no denying that.

For her target crowd, yes. Just like Twilight is "good" for it's target crowd. Like anything you hear on the radio is "good" for it's target crowd. There's a reason these things are so widespread.

If something doesn't get subscribers, followers, listeners, fans, then it's either not targeting the right crowd or it's not good.

Trance/Electronic music has such a huge following I believe, and within that following, Armin van Buuren is the top producer of Trance/electronic music.

You're arguing such mundane details now. I don't agree with the Top 100 list. Actually...I just don't agree with David Guetta, but the majority of people listening to this type of music do.

Techno covers all genres of electronic music, imo. Dubstep, dnb, trance, progressive, happy hardcore, hardstyle. We welcome lovers of electronic dance music.

Oh trust me, I love Above and Beyond. They are definitely my top favorite. I think this years Top 100 will be interesting to see who comes out on top. 3 years at number one though means a lot.

If you're into hard dance (from DI.FM), I'd recommend you to check out DIGITALLY - IMPORTED - Hard Dance - PARTS 1 and 2. They've got some pretty neat stuff in there. Although, some people don't like the quality since it seems to be directly ripped from the radio as the songs play. But to me, it all sounds perfectly fine. You can find that ish on google, or just pm me for the links.

Wait until the end of their set. I'm not even hearing it live, and I still cry when they close with Home. god.

Code: Select all

Btw, just like I've said many times in this thread, I agree with .curve. You guys need to check out di.fm they play the best trance 24/7, only the popular stuff and ofcourse weekly live sets with only top ranking djs. (also ASOT ofc which is where it's at).

The second tune in the video above just takes me away @ 6:00 ++.

I just got back from the q-dance party in amsterdam. Farking awesome. I've met the guy who hosts the video above in germany earlier as well. He's got loads of hours worth of top trance in his channel. And ofc it's awesome just to sit there and watch his videos where he drives on 2x speed through all kinds of places with his car whilst flying away on trance :D

I'm free for a couple of months and q-dance is gonna be explosive this year. So many events.

It's a live recording of their set from Electric Daisy Carnival LA and it is fcking powerful.
I'd replayed it like 18 times just trying to imagine myself there, hearing it live.

Think you can link me somewhere?
I found the podcast on their site but it wants itunes

It's great because together, TATW and ASOT cover the hottest tracks every week on their shows so I rarely look for solo tracks on the web, I just shove the whole episodes on my iPhone and that's how I know a lot of tracks by title because they announce them before the play it. I rarely find myself browsing the web finding tracks by title unlless it's a song I REALLY want. But then again you are always supplied with a tracklist on the TATW and ASOT weeklys. :D

Do any of you guys go to events ?
