We know that each parent donates one gene that determines a child's sex, with XX being for woman and XY being for men.

So what would happen if the child was YY? o.O If males could get pregnant to another male, this would be a severe problem, seeing we have no idea what it would be like.

YY isnt compatible with life (assuming if we artificially synthesize it). Theres alot of genes on X that Y doesnt have, that we need in order to function normally.

Hmph, nobody suggested that males couldnt receive a uterus transplant ;). Of course the immunosuppressant (antirejection) drugs would compromise the pregnancy, also other complications such as hormonal interactions/feedback that would interfere with normal uteral maintenance.

Our genetic engineering tech is nowhere near in making a genetically similar, nonimmunorejectable uterus for a "male" hybrid should I say, as there has to be some major physiological overhaul to allow these organs to coexist in the same individual (hermaphrodites are different, and usually sterile). Lolz, this is just me ranting sci-fi stuff.

Juding by what you said it would be easier to just take the eggs and raise it in a tube rather than transplant it into a male...and your probably right.

...tube as in...penis? :P :P :P
now theres a concept

*edit*
just thought about that..ouch :(

*cringes*
No, just no. That'd be hell and back.

Thats basically similar to what you see in those sci-fi movies with cloning? Just that they put it in some guys stomach lol.

What bothers me is this:

EMBRYO GROWTH
"Once implantation was complete, Mr. Lee stopped taking hormones, because the pregnancy itself, as expected, took over. The embryo secretes sufficient hormones to maintain its own growth and development."

Secretes hormones from what, nothing? lol It needs to get energy somehow right?.. Its a closed system 0o .. It's possible to maintain male pregnancy like that BUT there should be some tube connected to the baby, giving it food and necessary vitamins blah blah?
