The man had the hiccups and the water helped him stop it and the gun scared him which also help stop his hiccups.

Yeah, but needs too much effort but the guy could stop his breath for a while so it wont work. Try to find another method that could kill him instantly :wink:

I'll give you one :

A farmer puts his melons outside in the morning. They weigh 200 kg. They contain 99% water and 1% of real melon(the squishy part). Now at the end of the day, because of the heat, they only contain 98% water. How much do the melons weigh at the end of the day ?

weight of water/(total weight) = X % by weight of water
200 kg * 0.01 = 2 kg = weight of melon
.98 = weight of water/(weight of water + 2)
weight of water = 2*.98/(1-.98) = 98 kg
total weight = 100 kg
