There are tons of psycological reasons as to why ppl cut themselves. Many people who do it are actually trying to work out a deep distress somewhere in there mind/body/soul. Most of these ppl come from abusive homes are insecure and lack any real positive thinking. HOWEVER! these ppl don't take pictures of there cuts or tell there friends or do it in public places so everyone can see. Cutting is a personal problem and the ppl who are accosiated with it are often anti-social or in some cases even misanthropic. Who ever took that picture of all there cuts however leaves suicide notes and sends them BEFORE they commit suicide so that EVERYONE in the world can know what there about to do are just attention whores. they want everyone to know what they're doing and think they have some big problem but in reality they just want ppl to look at them and say something/anything at all about them so they can feel unique/different/special
also wearing the tight panst and wearing your hair to cover your eyes can just as easily be associted with the skater/punkrock social groups. Just another example of people trying to feel unique. I won't bash the REAL emo kids the ones with actually problems. Im not going to bash ppl for wearing hair that covers there eyes (mines does but tis dreadlocks ). While i am completely Against the nut-hugger jeans im not going to bash tem either, if you want low sperm count and chafing thats your issue. But all the attention whore need to stfu or prepare to become laughing stocks.

I like how so many of you are talking about how and why people cut themselves like you actually know anything concrete. I mean working things out and coming to your own conclusions is all well and good, but without any actual experience you shouldn't be talking like that in a discussion.
