Flag burning is a bit different. You can disrespect my flag whenever, wherever you want. If you are going to do it in my country though, don't go waving your old flag around while you do it. That's just rude.

if you hate america or the american government enough to burn the flag, why are you living in the country? Your enjoying your freedom here and having a nice life in America, if you hate it, then your an idiot so GTFO of the country.

Book burning is ok, as long as your burning retarded books

So its ok to burn written word which is the only way mankind has been able to pass on the dreams, ambitions, thoughts, and lifestyles of he past but not ok to burn the symbol of your current Gov't which as of now has been treating every citizen like we don't exist and blatantly ignoring or just flat out saying NO! to our request.

Being an American means it is one of your American Rights to hate the way the this country is run and if you feel the need to burn the symbol of our Gov't than by all American means do so because that is also your right. I could write several volumes of text explaining what is wrong with this country, how it got so bad, and the best ways to fix it. I could also write however a much smaller, albeit a far more important series of text stating the things that out country has that every country should have. In America you can look around and see the cons outweighing the pros but the very fact that once you see them you have the right/duty to change them to the best of your abilities (within the law though sometimes outside of it) is what America is really all about.

Our Country is not perfect, its not as great as people say it is BUT we have the right to change it which is more than many countries can say. So next you say that an American burning the American flag is Un-American please check yourself because its one of the most American things any American can do.

Wow at that picture. I thought flags of different countries are supposed to be on different poles. And whoever put that flag upside down... >_>

I would go with books, to be on topic. A book has more intrinsic value and meaning than a flag does anyways.
