Actually airplanes are very sophistacated these days. On some you can just put in the coordinates ( to a degree..) And it flies there. They can even land themselves on the newer models. Yes they have to learn it but i think that they rarely do things the old fashioned except for take off and landing. These days the pilots usually use the auto-pilot.

Anyways i always wanted to be a pilot... But im afraid of heights...
