Thou Shalt Not Be Upset With Gift

I've always hated when people get upset when they receive a gift they didn't necessarily want, or that isn't particularily good.

That being said, I have done that before.

Now though (and years back) I simply take the gift, and if it is not something I had wanted, I either use it once and then let it be, or just let it be.

But there are people, sadly lots of them in my school, who get gifts and then complain about them.

It is my opinion that if anything comes free (anything positive, I should say, if some one punches you in the face for free, that is no good) then you should not complain. It isn't as though it set you back anything, it is all profit. It is simply rude.

Decode that and answer with your opinions.

whats even worse than people complaining is the people returning the gifts...People are so materialistic nowadays...

Yeh u guys r rite it is the thought that counts even though I myself was a little disappointed but I feel better now (I mostly got money this year) I like opening things lol

Agreed.
Though that isn't to say we can put a damper on the right of free speech

I usually am really pissed at people who can't stop looking at the slightly bad side of their gift(s) though. Why can't we just all be thankful for all we have? It's the love that went into getting the gift that matters.

Well if like this christmas i got a webcam from one of my relatives that cost
about 50$ i feel abit annoyed because its really not something i wanted and i
could get something nicer with that money.

But i dont complain i tell him thanks thats awsome and then i use it. I dont ever bitch

All you saying people unhappy with their gifts should be hit in the face etc.
I hope that means the ones that complain, otherwise have you never felt abit
dissapointed with what you have gotten and thought you could have gotten something else?
