How much information can you legally find about someone?

Post by Stallowned »

For free.

(not myspace or facebook or any of that crap)

I know the persons name.

Edit- No I'm not e-stalking someone. It is someone in real life. No I'm not stalking them, just need to find information to crack their skull.

Edit 2- the person does not seem to be the type of person to spend a lot of time on the interents posting blogs and on forums and shit. In other words: google hasn't got me far.

Tooo much.....

Its ridiculously easy nowadays with the internet. If you have name first and last, it can take you a good 30mins of searching. If you also have city, well you can probably find the guy within 15mins. That's why I make sure I put as little info on the web as possible because I know how easy it can be used against you.

anonymity is the safest way to surf the webs

Forgot to mention the person more than likely isn't the internet type user to post blogs and forums and have websites and stuff :P

The most I found was a research paper they wrote for a university degree. Couldn't go anywhere else from there.

Hmmm do you know what university? But even if you did that would mean a bit of hacking some databases and thats illegal. But if you know city and last name and age...well then its a 80% chance of finding some info

Yeah I know the university. I don't know the age though. Looks young enough not to look old but old enough not to look young and doesn't really look "in the middle". I tried finding alumni type sites but I guess I suck :(

I usually go to 411.ca

From phone numbers I can find their postal codes which I use to attempt-crack their Email if I really get pissed at somebody :P

But in general I'm a nice person :P
