comp freezing

ok i notice my comp freezing alot
um i had limewire me and my friend strted downloading alot of stuff u know music porn some otha shit and i said to my stuff why not download it since im just gonna do system restore make my comp go to earlier time stuff when i press ctrl+f11 when i restart my comp a sytem restore programm comes up ohh and btw during this time i belive i had no firewall no virus porteciton nothing so i do the restore then download sro client which take long time then i decicde hey let me get a fire wall i gte zonealarm and i notice after i got this programm my comp lagging like fu cking crazzy yet i was downloading so much shit with no protection and no lagg weird =/ then i got to processes and the frire says its mem usage at 25,000 which i doubt =/ cause zone alarm+sro the biggest fu cking laggggg i veer seen in my life

ok so i did this then i reformmated/system resotre wat ever again cause i deleted something in sro folder on accident i was paying attention xD

so basically monday i reformmated my pc 3 times then today i wake up
again with the laggg and zone alrm nd shit so i start to play sro for the event thing so basically after i did system resotre the noly thing i downloaded was the firewall+sro and some camastria studio to record
and comp is lagign like crazzy crashiing then whiile im playing it crahsing blue screen says something about harddrive or virus idk and said to restart pc and same error comes when i do so this forced me to system restore again now the noly thing im runing is aol explore which im on now
and downloading sro client again

now my comp laggs from time to time and just freezes i go to task manager i go to perfromance and noly 40% its at 40% with crazzy ass freezes so i clean my comp all the dust from front to the back my comp got like a fan or something in the front

now im wondeing without really running alot pof prgramms am getting perioditcly freeze and im not even runing sro or zonealarm

so any one got any advices on wat i should do
btw i thought about atuallt reformating my whole pc witht he cd that came with pc or system resotre to the point wheni first turned on my pc

oh i also clicked to see my comps or gpu tempature ot watever and it says
64 degrees not sure if this has to do with it o.o but yea that was just a lil more info

I can't help you, because I know next to nothing about computers, but try posting this in the technical help section.

System restore doesnt really do jack. It just puts the registry back to how it was, and reinstalls/uninstalls any programs you've changed. It wont magically fix your computer. Do a hard reformat see if it helps.

format > registry restore.

example: i formatted my comp, put windows back on, everything works fine.
my dad restored my moms registry with norton ghost, she gets BSOD once every 2 weeks
