feel like im starting to need a laptop, since im spending alot of time in uni <_<...
i want to get a cheap one...(not over 800$ CAD +taxor a bit over)...
i saw this one in futureshop: http://tinyurl.com/34c9e7
Toshiba A200 06V
main specs:
TOSHIBA A200 for 699$ CAD
120GB SATA 5400RPM
8X Super Multi DVD
1.5GHz Core 2 Duo T5250
RAM 1024MB (its 2x512...but i think 1gb is fine for me for the time being)
Graphics Chipset : Intel GM965 ????no idea lol
256MB Video memory
Battery - Capacity 4000mAh ??
Processor Cache 32KB/32KB L1, 2MB L2
it says its on sale, 500$ off ....not sure about that though. does this sound like a good deal? idk what some of those secs mean... my other choice was the sony vaio (723$ CAD) found here: http://tinyurl.com/27kxh3 (looks nice...its sony, but the specs didnt seem as well...)
i'd appreciate any help, deciding between the two or any other in that futureshop online catelog below 800$

The spec's are overkill.
Keep looking for something cheaper.
Unless, you're looking for some gaming laptop or something...
This looks fine http://www.futureshop.ca/catalog/prodde ... 559&catid=

Never go to places like that. I was watching TV and they did a "sting" to see how well the companies perform. All that was faulty was one stick of ram. They called up 12 different "computer savy helpers" to see their response. I believe it was geeksquad that said it needed to be shipped to london and vacuum sealed for 3-4 weeks; costing over $2,000, when all they needed was a cheap $20 stick of DDR ram.

This is an EXTREMELY good deal.
