I finished it in about 5 hours on easy. Now im going through casually on legendary. The theater thingymabob is suprisingly fun though.
I saved a few screenshots while messing around with it
***NOTE: one of the pictures may contain a spoiler. The picture is of the very last moment in the game when you still have control (but with a "funky" camera angle that i set up), so unless you dont want to know the location the game ends at it should be ok*** http://www.bungie.net/stats/Halo3/FileS ... nnovacious
i dont like the fact that a lot of the gameplay that ive seen has to do with just running up to a monster holding down the trigger and then melee attacking him to death over and over

I just played a bit of the Legendary (hardest) co-op. and Anyone that did that got raped. Its ridiculous how much more difficult the game really gets. So yeah, i would say while it can be like that on the right difficulty its frustratingly hard and takes more then that.
i was disapointed, i really like the other 2 games but this one leaves me kinda sad i got the special edition,
but ya halo 3 was way to short, and the way the story ended left me thinking well, its not as concluded as it should have been, i wont' spoil anything to those who havn't played, but the war wasn't quite finished and they just said it was because of one conflict
and cortana just randomly saying the least insightfull things ever
and then grave mind was just annoying to have it talk to you (the story may have been better if they weren't talking to you like that)
but think about it like those all those halo haters
alieans
zombies
zombie alieans
guns
lasers
rockets
vehicles
a mythical side
a si fi side
a war going on
natural enviroments
creeepy enviroments
si fi enviorments
urban enviroments
the only thing the game is missing is world war 2

Lol, legendary on halo 3 is WAAAAAAAAY easeir than legendary was on halo 2. And the 4 people co-op thing is just gonna make it ridiculously easy.
Anywho, im a halo geek/nerd/fanboy, i can go on for hours talking about the "halo universe" and all the storys, all the characters etc. but halo 3? it had a story? It was dumbed down so much that it basically turned it into a generic sci-fi fps. It added a few things to the overall plot. Like a bit more info on who the forerunners are (i wont tell you though) but whoever wrote the script for this thing is not very creative atall, someone (well, 2 people... uh, not people.. things) just come out and say it... if you sneeze or dont pay proper attention you might miss it.

Somweone who uinderstands me lol
I too think that the halo series storyline is weak.. Come on... shooting alines... in space with lazers -.-
Well im not gonna say no more cause i know tah there are those "addicts" out there who will say any shit to defend halo.
Lol I prefer call of duty series at least those actually happened
Well its not space its earth and its not with lasers its with guns...lol do you even know the halo story line? or even played any of it? am guessing not

lol are you joking? the game does end how it should...not to spoil it to much and also not really caring but the war DOES end, its over Humanity wins, i mean did you even play it? Truth is killed and the Covanent is destroyed...at the end during the memorial service the Arbiter leads the Eliets away from earth back to their home world...and seeing how the eliets were fighting with the humans its over. also Gravemind had captured Cortana at the end of Halo 2 and drove her some what insane, hence why she talks gibrish most of the time Also whats wrong with the last scene after the credits? the game ends like it begain, with the Master Chief going back into stasis waiting until they need him again (in Halo 1 they bring him out of stasis)

i have and have played all 3..and halo 3 is set on earth, but read what that guy wrote...its clear he has no idea what halo is about...i just hate it when people say things like "oh i hate this game....but i have no idea what its about"...like that guy the other week who deleted WoW after installing it, before even playing it because he didnt like it ¬_¬

well, the flood could still have god knows how many ships from the 2nd halo, they had high charirty and another ship the brutes and the rest of remain covenant, what just because teh profits died they are just going to not do anything, seams to me they may be a little sore their head got choped off, and brutes would try to take charge, in name of revenge, they weren't defeated even if the elites had no more dealings in th conflict. seams to me they would attack again

Cause eventhough the story isnt what we'd hoped for, it's a REALLY great game, scoring high with every critic. It's just well developed and fun to play.
I haven't finished it yet, haven't got too much time, but i'm almost there, and i'm liking it so far. Story could've been better, but the gameplay still rocks, regardless of any.
Played one 'level' on legendary, kinda easy :/ then again, i've played the halo series WAY too much..

anyway...just run up those brutes..hit them with shotgun and bash..they will be dead > : )

Main thing i dont like about the new brutes: There new armor is cool and everything, but hit it once and it all dissapeares? come on Bungie! leave it on, let me get the headpiece, and bash them with that!
