Great examples are Germany and Japan. Need I say more?

The U.S. -.-

If you are referring to Iraq, you are malinformed and incorrect.

Iraq is not a true war. In this day and age, you simply can't invade and conquer anymore. Before the UN, you could, and you would do like the vikings did. You spend money to go pillage for money to make more money to pillage for more money. Now. when you invade a country, you simply can't walk away with their treasure chests, or technology. You can demand for retribution if you were provoked, but that's not the case of Iraq.

The US did not suffer huge losses like Germany and Japan have. That makes the economic comeback of these two countries ever more impressive.

Well a point should be made that before the first war, both Germany and Japan were heavily industrialized and economic powers, so they knew what they were doing. But yeah, it was impressive nonetheless. I brought up the U.S. because they made a giant load of money off the two world wars, both off isolationism and selling war supplies and such.

Like canada is doing now? We borrow money to the US, as well as natural ressources. That comes back with interest, boosting our dollar from 70% to 9x% of what the american dollar is worth. It's expected by early next year that our dollar passes the american one.

Actually, in a 20th century history class you would learn that the French started it with the treaty of Versailles ending World War I.

I watched all 5 parts, it was a very good documentary. I liked it. That's why my TV is always on the history channel.

I agree the Treaty of Versailles was too hard for the germans, but I do think that Hitler used it as an excuse to start another war.

And by the way the treaty of Versailles is a consequence of the 1st World War, which the germans started also.

You're all not understanding its impact. It was not Hitler's justification, its psychological impact affected the german people so much that they accepted Hitler's lead and supported his ideas.

It's what permitted him to take over, without it the people would of not supported him.

True, indeed did the treaty made it easier for Hitler to let the people adopt his ideas. If someone has problems they always need someone to point to. Hitler gave them that someone.

But again, it was not the treaty that led to WW2, it was the person who took advantage of the negative aspects of that treaty

+1 so if were going down doms route we might as well blame WWI for WWII.....regardless of the treaty of Versailles WWII was started by Germany

Quoted for truth.

Did anyone read the comments beneath the video itself?

I wanted to add Don't know what year but when the US was helping fight back the Communist Laos, the CIA enlist a group of militia form up of American soldiers and native people (mostly hmongs) this part of the war was called the Sercret War. So the Hmongs help the Americans fight back the Laos, I don't know the outcome of the war who won etc. (gotta check that) but when the Americans left they just left the hmongs with no protection. And to this day the Laos are still hunting native hmongs in the mountians (where they live) even though they denied it at the U.N., they are killing, raping and in my eyes ultimately trying to commit genecide just cause the hmongs help the Americans in a war that shoulda ended long ago. If anyone one of you has watched the film Hunted Like Animals by Sarah Summers you will know what I'm taking about, this film as been presented to the U.N. yet they have not done nothing or so I've heard (Need to check on that as well).

No, it was because they tried to commit genocide. This sets them apart in this discussion.

Jews weren't the only people victimized in the holocaust.
