Young smokers really piss me off.

Older smokers weren't really aware of the effects on their health, but young smokers who are well aware of the risks on themselves and others (the 'others' part is what gets to me the most) and still choose to do so are idiots.

Plain and simple really, and if any of you filthy smokers wants to argue their case, feel free, because there really is no justification for it.

I'm 17 and I love cigarettes. I've been smoking for four years already. I don't want to live to be old and dependent, I want to live doing whatever I want and die young..ish. People can say it sounds rediculous, but it sounds like a good life plan to me. I also think calling people "filthy smokers" is kinda low.

I hate it when silverware scrapes on ANYTHING. Plates, teeth, peircings, it all drives me crazy haha

My friends I hang out with smoke, if I'm at somebodies house I step outside to have a cigarette, the only people that come with me are other people who want to smoke. I can't really think of a time I've ever smoked around somebody who wasn't smoking. So no, my lifestyle isn't hurting others

Not to be a hater or anything, but when you smoke anywhere except for your own house or your own backyard, there's a huge chance you're affecting other people. Especially when on the street or whatever.

Even if (though it's impossible) you've never smoked around a non-smoker, you're still further damaging your friends lungs.

IMHO I don't care if someone smokes, if they want to, they can go ahead. 2nd hand smoke is supposedly 20% as bad, but how close are you ever to a smoker? Usually not very close, so it's more like 5%. And each cigarette only takes off 10~ minutes of your life, and it's not like you hang around waiting for someone to finish a cigarette.

So everytime you're with a smoker it's only like 1 second off your live, and what are you gonna do in one second? Sure it accumulates, but only to a couple hours/days.

I just don't like druggies.

Being opinionated is a good thing, far too many people keep their mouths shut these days just for a quiet life... it's why yobs run the streets around here and why there's no order in Britain. I'm entitled to my opinion and I will speak it, and I don't give a shit what a guy on a forum thinks about that, if you want to call me a 'fucken jackass', then that is your opinion which as I've stated previously, you are entitled to.

As for learning to deal with it, sometimes I have to, my mother pays the rent and she's a smoker, and as much as it pains me to do so, I have to put up with it. If someone is accidentally blowing smoke on me, I'll tell them to stop it because I don't like it, which they will do... not yet been in a position where being 'beaten to a pulp' has been an issue.

Got no problem with smokers who smoke away from others as was said in the first post I made in this thread, but if you light up near me, I'll ask you to keep the damn thing away.

Simple as that, now let me be, I'll continue giving my opinion on a daily basis within this forum, and that is just something you're going to have to deal with, 'bud'. :roll:
