Need help with BitComet :\

Post by thAi »

How do play torrents that u finished downloading. I downloaded an episode and tried to right click than click play. It pops up a task preview and under the file name theres nothing. I'm not that real good with computers as you can see :\

I've downloaded a movie before and got it to work but that was a long time ago and i now recently started to start downloading torrents again. I played the movie with VLC.

Just go to C:/ or w/e it is. Then look for the downloads folder (where all the downloads end up from bitcomet), double click on the file or right click on it and choose which player you want to watch it on.
That's atleast how I do it. (I'm bad at explaining sorry ^^;)

BitTorrent is the network, these are two different clients ... so how can BitTorrent be "shit"?

BitTorrent is a protocol, not a network. But there is also the client titled BitTorrent as well.

BitTorrent is also a client. But they have bought uTorrent and have started incorporating it into their own client.

Yes, protocol was the word...

Anyways I doubt he meant the original BT client... maybe he just mistyped Bitcomet? At least it didn't make much sense.

Yes, go to settings/options/preferences. Go to Task, then press on 'Default destination directory' or something and change it. It should work.
I just noticed I got an older version of bitcomet but it should be the same.
