Thanks i'm gonna try it today
Edit: That program sux..sorry..I should reach like 30 kb/s over IDM but your program lowered it to 25 and sometimes went 28 then 25...and after downloading a 900mb file it said it was 100% and i waited a bit to make sure and then i dunno wtf went on it lagged and closed and then the file wont open...this is totally f**ed up that file took me a day to download.

Thanks to [SD]draquish for the nice topic :)

Here are some programs..you can pretty much google lots of them but the other bunch who arent easily google-able are from warez forums..cracked..Thats mainly why i ddnt give any links.

- 'Nod32' A great anti virus and very fast as well

- 'Foxit PDF Reader' Great PDF Reader

- 'Microsoft PowerPoint viewer' Allows you to view PowerPoint files without the need to download microsoft office.

- 'Registry First Aid Platinum' Helps in fixing/deleting bad registry crap..dunno much about the whole thing really

- 'NetLimiter Pro' Puts a limit to how much internet speed you are willing to give to each program you are running...for example if you are running a download and want some speed for your browser to check something it can help.

- 'UserBar Generator' Generates user bars =P

- 'XNeat Windows manager' Does some small tricks like controlling transparency of windows..sending windows to tray changing the order of minimized windows...etc..light nice program.

- 'O&O Defrag' Defragments Hard drives.

- 'LimeWire /Pro' A file sharing application...Just search for a song..etc and you get a list of available downloads.

Diskeeper it is defragmetion program that replaces the windows defragmantion program. This is so much better than windows defragmention. I tested it myself. I did defragmention with windows defragmention and it showed me almost 100% blue. Then installed Diskeeper and did defragmention with it. It was like 90% red and defragmention took like 1h. Nowadays I use auto defragmention while my pc is idle, so I do not have to even do it myself. The program is also able to change size of MTF and paging file and it tells u how large it actually should be to make ur pc work properly.

Here is the link to the site:

Stuff I can't live without, completely out of order because there's a few:

Surfing: Firefox. Know it, love it.
Email: Thunderbird. Mozillas email client. 'Sgood.
IMs: Pidgin. It's small, fast, and does everything I need it to.
Pownce. It's awesome too, in a different way.
Videos: Miro. It's basically VLAN with a rss feed built in so it can autodl podcasts and such.
Joost: Online TV watching. It's pretty sweet if your connection can handle it.
Music: Foobar2000. completely customizable, by default tiny and fast, music player.
EAC/LAME: Gets my CDs to my PC as perfect as possible.
Completely legal file sharing:DC++. Now don't pirate, kids, unless you live in Sweden where it's legal, or unless you're in college. :D
Other computer related stuff:Zone alarm pro: Get it. It is goodness.
Alcohol 120%. Sometimes I need a virtual drive. Got a problem with that?
Google Earth. Hooray!
ArtiosCAD/Adobe Suite/Openoffice/Lightwave. They make me money. And I love them for it.
Motherboard Monitor. Let's me know how my compy is running.

And yes, I am a geek. With a double 3 k.
