A lesson to us all.
Recently I went around trying to find the old UT goty forums because I was feeling a bit down, and remembered having good times playing it with my old friends from way back when. I ended up stumbling upon the old forums, which are now shut down.

Read those posts, that is the way a forum should be. People being nice to each other, respecting each other, making friends with each other, real, true friends that can trust each other. I don't know, maybe it's just me being a sappy sentimentalist again, but maybe just maybe it is real, profound respect for what these people had and lost. I think we can all take a lesson from this forum closing and think, what will it be like when this one eventually withers away?

Yeah, you're right..
You just made me realize that I'm being sucked into the meanness of other people.
I won't even go into why the internet is how it is these days, it's just unfortunate that a certain demographic has tainted the entire thing.

The first real friends I ever made were online. Looking back I was a lot nicer of a person then, and I wish I was like that now. It is wierd to look at how much things have changed online. I remember back a while ago when forums were for friendly conversation, not mindless, hateful flaming.

awww.... here u go *hug* ... enjoy
But nah, i must admit this forum is very aggressive, but in a way its a good thing. It provides for entertainment, reading 2 people flame each other ( the 70:70 bow guide comes to mind) ... quite a funny read

There are a couple people here that I genuinely like and would like to hang out with in RL. Most are just people on a forum I don't give a 2nd thought about or care about...and there are also a couple I'd really like to fucken hit that come on here.
The worst thing about the internet is that you can't stop someone from saying whatever they please to you...gah...MY ANGER IS RISING!!!!!111

See, it's shit like this that makes forums dumb now. People like this ass that just try to find some way to make fun of someone else to make his e-peen feel bigger.

Good point man
Its a fact that some people let out their anger in the internet.
I'm not quite in the mood to be flamed by a "Stop that Pokemon Shit MC...
FC" t^t² $h*t.
SRY MoBo but there will always be a wrinkle in your fine Blouse of peace
Its just not meant to be
