true, dragonballz was also my 1st anime show I watched (willingly) Before my sister would hog the tv and watch sailor moon, it was sooooo frkin gay!!!...no offence to the guy who has sailor moon as his avatar and his siggy =/, maybe what turned me off was the english dubbing...it was horrible.
Anyways, I stopped watching dragonballz when In one saga, Forget which one, they talked about love and friends and not letting you hurt this world and there was absolutely no fighting at all, maybe in that whole saga, there was one episode of fighting, so I got pissed, stopped watching that, the I watched Yu-gi-oh, they did that love thing too and it also got gay, then I went to beyblade, got even gayer, the thing is, is that the only reason I stopped watching them was not only that of the filler problem, it made absolutely no sense, goku dies 5 times and he is still alive?!? and he broke some huge bolder and can still walk? seriously, beyblade, monsters inside there tops?, and Yu-gi-oh, how can you love in animate objects like cards?...now im watching Inuyasha, Naruto Shippuuden and I loved the FMA series, and im reading the Tsubasa chronicles manga and the bleach manga also the Hikaru No Go and the one piece manga...
there may be alot of talking, but I've matured and I like the story line, back then I only liked shows with fighting in it, but still, these shows I use to watch made no sense, logically speaking of course
