um... because its a good game? I got the decades pack which has every c&c game in it and red alert 2 is my favorite.

Best version of C@C was the Win95 version. I used to pwn my cousin over our dial-up 56kps modem line.

Loved picking on his mineral mining trucks. Muahahahaha...

If not mistaken a gap generator is like a stealthing tower, it just makes a big black mark on ur enemy radar over the tower and its surroundings.

Btw, just started playing C&C Tiberium Wars.

Let me tell you, C&C has come a long way with this one, still using famous actors for the movies thos. Dono about the pr0n stars this time.

Lots of new units, with some old favorites like the mamoth tank coming back.

All units come in groups now, so insted of buying one G.I you buy a lil squad of 5.

Now its not countries agains countries. Its G.D.I vs N.O.D (From the Renegade series). However, there is also a new race, the Scrin. Which is like aliens.

The U.I has changed, allowing for multiple build lines. Even for buildings.

In Skirmish, there isnt that many maps at the moment.

Yeah C&C Tib. Wars is definitely worth playing.
It looks quite like C&C Red Alert 2.
The scrin have a couple of cool units (Inihalator Tripod :twisted:)
but it takes quite some time for me to get along with them, i'll stick to the NOD.

I dont really like the Scrin. They are 2, annoyting. When with G.D.I i build mass numbers of Juggernauts. Send in a sniper team. And use the artilery :twisted:

Well, C&C Red Alert 2 Yuri's Revenge kinda finished it off didnt it?

I like this better, that they took the whole GDI vs NOD thing. Im not sure where the Scrin comes in though, i havent finished the game...

To be honest. Im stuck on one level at the moment! :banghead:

I remember playing C&C when I was little.

The graphics were so bad the people looked like little blobs on the screen that moved around.

Absolutely no strategy, pros/cons, balanced races, etc

Get something like aoe or starcraft, warcraft 3

lol...its changed slighty and i have the generations boxset....they dont
look that bad :roll: .

but it only really go hard in Red Alert 1...near the end
