Have I got a virus?

On my other computer, when it turns on the graphics are like they are on safe mode, the colour's screwed up and on display it won't let me change from '4-bit'. Some error happens when it starts and from then it's fine. But recently the Internet's being going funny, like it won't load a lot of pages, including this one. Does anyone know what's happening?

1. video card driver seems to be rolled back to the default one from OS disc

google your video card's manufacture

and go to their website, download software to update your graphic driver back
