-_-. Congrats your friends a racist. And either your one to or your a coward for not telling him he was being racist. I think everyone who post after this should make a list of the songs done by White ppl that piss them off.
I'll go first
Toby Keith - "Courtesy of the Red, White, And Blue"
i have never heard a more redneck piece of crap in my life.

More modern rap is just more material than territorial.
Rap is an expressive form of music and because of this will always follow a certain beat...the same way jazz is always jazz in whatever form. The context of rap songs are a reflection of the genre so to say they're about the same thing comes off as kind of condecending since the same can be said for country jazz pop blues and many more if you look at them that way.

Nah, I'm pretty sure a majority of rap these days is either about how rich they are, how famous they are, or how many bitches they have. Compared to older rap/hiphop artists like Run DMC, you can really see how it contrasts. Back then people didn't give a shit, and people didn't buy your albums because you think you're ballin.

There were many many many more old school rappers besides Run DMC. The very fact that you mentioned them out of all the old school rappers says you don't know much about the history of rap. You can easily compare the stuff Run DMC put out to some of the stuff OutKast puts out. Yeah alot of rap nowadays is mostly about b*tches and hoes if you take a step back and get out of the main stream if only for a few seconds you can easily find rap thats still good. Gnarls Barkely the collaboration of Cee-lo and Danger Mouse is a perfect example. Listen to St. Elsewhere (the album and the song is great too) and you won't find 1 song devoted to that gangsta sh*t but its still rap. And really good rap
