Has anyone ever seen this anime/manga? It happens to be one of my favorites, ever since it started.

Very funny series ... the Animé used to run throughout the afternoon animé program of a private channel here, together with such stuff as Pokémon, Digimon etc etc

Could characterize him as a "Japanese mini-Sherlock Holmes"

Watched quite a lot of episodes, but the time they came were not so good for me so I didn't watch them regularly.

For a plot description use google, mine would suck as there are alot "stories in the story".

It's good if you like mysteries. The logic in the anime is actually good and valid, if I remember correctly. I watched a few episodes years ago. I still think the logic and reasoning is better in Death Note though ^^.

How the whole mystery thing is built up in it is just like CSI except he doesn't have his own lab( one of the unrealistic things)
Despite the fact that i stopped watching it 2 years ago: it was ok.
Now its time for action and flashback parties

( Naruto etc.)

I use to watch it but I stopped after Adult Swim Stopped airing it, I better add it to the Animes I need to watch list ^_^

Oh, I've seen Case Closed a few times. It didn't really grab me. No doubt the sub is better.
