Are you sure? Franken IS a comedian. He's done far worse than this ad. Why not run it?

Oh yeah, he's a huge douchebag. I find it hilarious how often in each show he manages to stick in a plug for his website, or his book, or his coffee mug, or his cafepress thong or whatever he's selling now. When he went on The Colbert Report and Stephen held up a copy of his book with a 30% off sticker on it, I almost died laughing. That was absolutely the most perfect, effortless, and well-deserved knife in the gut... ever.

Devotia's post just reminded me of the way O'Reilly likes to call Franken "Stuart Smalley". No spin, my ass.
