Haven't seen it yet...I stood no chance of battling hard core nerds in getting tickets for opening night so I just chill...I'll probably watch it next weekend....

Haven't watched it yet.

I'll have to watch the previous 6 films again before watching the new one for sure. Haven't seen them since the newest one came out, which is... what? 10 years ago now? Can't remember much of the films.

Ok I just saw the movie online and I got to say, it surprised me. I was rdy to share some hate here about how "meh" it was but I enjoyed myself quite a bit and its been some time now since I could say that about a movie.

That being said ... could they have casted some1 with a dumber looking face to play Luke, I think not.

I have seen the older movies multiple times. My previous comments were on that. My "review" for the new one came after I saw it since talking about something you have no knowledge of is silly as you have pointed out.

Went and got tickets today... Reserved seats for a viewing on Saturday....And it was still a bit difficult trying to get good seats so I had to opt for a very late viewing (11:30pm)...

Finally watched it...I liked it for the most part but was unimpressed with the all too abrupt establishment of relationships within the story...It was implausible for me...

The Rey character formed too quick of a bond with the BB8 robot...She was bent on helping it on its quest way too quick after meeting with it.... The character FIN and the Ace pilot acted like they were old friends hugging happily upon their second meeting after only meeting briefly the first time...

And again the friendship bond between Rey and Fin came about way to fast as if they knew each other over a long period and have shared many adventures before....All of these relations/bonds happened way too fast and thus for me was implausible...

I actually had to order 2 months in advance for a group of 5 people (IMAX), 1 hour after tickets went on sale the 9 PM session was sold out. Pretty good though.
