Shows revolving females usually end up being some sloot crying for 40 minutes straight, Netflix did an amazing job with Narcos tho, so they might surprise yet again.

My interest in comics/graphic novels stopped at age 12....So did my interest in "super heros"..somewhat...This Jessica Jones super hero also has the most basic and unimaginative super powers as well...flying and super strength?...so yeah... still not interested...I'd probably watch it though if it portrays a lot of death and killing...especially of it's key characters...I want blood and gore to add some realistic balance to these types of fantasies...

I think the point of Jessica Jones is not so much her powers, which are pretty normal, but more so about what she went through.

I mean, let's face it, regardless of what a persons powers are, no one watches a show for the powers alone.

Yes agreed...character development and a good story line is key to making something like this worthwhile...But a super hero story isn't complete without that other entertaining component which the audience craves...That's where special/unique/interesting abilities comes in to bring about the complete package...

I'm no expert but I feel this super hero show will probably get buried in obscurity due to the amount of other heroes out there with similarly interesting backgrounds but with much more intriguing abilities....There is hardly a differentiating factor with this Jenna Jamison character errr uhh -I-mean... Jessica Jones...
