I think you don't need to worry about that too much, I think sisters are pretty good at looking after their younger siblings too, based off my own family and some other close families. You just have to make sure the eldest is self-actualized and not a narcissistic asshole, or it rubs the wrong way on everyone.
Yeah but a brother has the intimidation factor regardless of how motherly a sister is to her siblings.
Call me old school, but having big brother be a deterrent when it comes to guys in school and whatnot is a huge help.

Thanks guys, not been feeling too well. Had a cold for nearly a week, and only can take paracetamol to help relieve it. Had a horrendous nose bleed yesterday and sicked up a load of blood!
Haven't posted any updates lately, but thought I'd let you all know, only got 6 weeks till he's with us. I finish work at the end of this week, which I am totally looking forward too, as I am shattered!! My feet, legs and hips hurt so much... Still got so much to prepare for, before his arrival though!! But we're getting there!
