Well, it's probably because I live in a country where no one goes trick or treating.

Same. We have 2 other days in November where children go "trick or treating", but those are different.

Re: Halloween.
I'm too lazy to talk about them. The customs are different and the nature of the holidays. And it's not a Christian thing.
It's not something I really care about anyways.

Re: Halloween.
Isn't really celebrated in Denmark, so no, you should't feel bad about it!

Re: Halloween.
^ Well there were some decorations and Halloween themed parties here in Copenhagen. Fortunately I don't think there is trick or treating.

Are you living in Copenhagen?
All we do is decorate a bit with pumpkins, really. At least for most parts of Denmark. And yeah, there might be some theme-parties, but no trick or treating

Re: Halloween.
Isn't Halloween a pagan thing, where they use to ward of bad spirits or demons or something along those lines?

I believe the pumpkins were to ward off bad spirits and it used to be something else they handed out to the spirits(now it's candy) so people would have a good harvest.
