^I have to agree xbox exlusives are better, Gears of war, Halo, etc just have such good movements compared to say, Uncharted :/. And they fked up with the sequels from the ps2 games or they stopped being exclusives.

Uncharted 2 still one of the best games ever along with San andreas

always loved the ps exclusives. then theres the indie games, most to all the good indie titles will probably head to ps4. for some reason Microsoft hate indie game companies.

With the required Kinect and used game fees I feel this is going to end up like Windows 8.
People will buy it, suck it up, and accept that M$ has made a turd just like Windows 8.

Yeah, I'm 110% certain PS4 is going to be the go-to choice this time around. I've had 3 Xboxes [1 original and 2 360s], but this will be my first PS.

I never owned an Xbox and I was maybe gonna switch from ps to xbox for the next generation. (Since online pretty much sucks balls on ps3). But with all those DRM things and no used copies and bullcrap like that. My money is going to Sony for the next generation.

Sony already stated that there won't be any extensive DRM bs (such as always online, which Xbox will most likely get).

For multiplayer games, i'd say they do, but what i meant was mainly the mechanics of it.
Gears of War, halo have such smooth character movement, compared to killzone (especially) and uncharted. makes better time playing

MS better ditch the DRM shit if they want to have a chance.

-Used game fees / a fee every time your game is used on another account.
If you let your friend borrow a game he'll have to pay a fee, then when you get it back you'll have to pay a fee to put it back onto your account.
-In order to play your games you have to have an internet connection. The Xbox has to check your license keys every 24 hours, at which point it'll probably lock you out of most of your games if not all.
-Kinect is being rammed down everyone's throat. If it breaks you have to buy another before you can use your Xbox again.

PS3 sales caught up to 360's after being behind a year and MS sold an extra billion units from RRoD from the early generation of 360s. I have no doubt Sony is going to mop the floor with M$ this time if they don't add DRM.

Well this sucks.

Confirmed you can only play your games if you have checked in online with microsoft to get their permission once every 24 hours on your own xbox. If your playing on someone elses you have to check in once every hour.

There wont be a used game fee for the consumer, but rather the retailer supposedly.

They decide who your able to give your game too though, each game can only be given away one time, and only to someone who's been on your friend list for 30 days.

Don't forget your forced to own and have kinect hooked up, even though you don't have to use it.




Theres also this family member list thing, sounds like it could be a nice feature, sounds kind of exploitable.

Xbox One will enable new forms of access for families. Up to ten members of your family can log in and play from your shared games library on any Xbox One. Just like today, a family member can play your copy of Forza Motorsport at a friend’s house. Only now, they will see not just Forza, but all of your shared games. You can always play your games, and any one of your family members can be playing from your shared library at a given time.

Oh well, Xbox One as of right now to me is a no no, but I don't know much about PS4 yet.

Used games? Borrowing? It's a thing of the past now.
Games come with 1 license key that can be transferred ONE time.
Sony has said that they're leaving the option of bullshit used game options to the game publishers, which means EA will be picking it's used game shit back up again.

In order to transfer a game the person with the game has to be friends with the person they are giving it to for 30 days. They can then "gift" the game to the recipient. This uses up the license key for the second time and the game is locked to that account for an eternity.
...This just gets worse day by day.
