I need advice about OS im using. Atm im using Windows 7 32bit, and im thinking to go back to XP, just because of games. I think, with my configuration that would be good choice, I need your opinion?
AMD Athlon dual core 5600+
Ati Radeon HD 3600
4gb RAM DDR2
Its an old PC, and I dont think there is no point in trying to upgrade it, or there is?

Re: Computer advice
not really gonna help you much if you're planning on playing newer games instead of older ones...
32bit w7 isn't particulalry heavy, though with 4gb a small fraction of your RAM isn't being used...
Maybe it's a good idea if you have 64bit XP installation hidden somewhere, but those are pretty darn rare afaik.

Re: Computer advice
W7 32-bit is fine for u, w7 32-bit shouldn't cause too many compaitibility issues. It's the 64-bit version that causes most problems with older games.
going to xp 32-bit makes u lose some available ram
going 64-bit xp will make a lot of games not playable..
Stick with w7 if it runs normal, go back to xp if u find that ur pc goes too slow.
Upgrading that pc: not worth it

Re: Computer advice
Thought so. It does run normal most games, was just curious to see if its gona be enough for Guild Wars 2, I tried it and it was ok, but I doubt I think mass world pvp might cause problems..

Re: Computer advice
possibly but hopefully the content is large enough that you can avoid mass pvp for 4 or 5 months.... then it will be worth buying a new pc xD
