Really? Determination? Maybe it's just me but I saw Vegeta as one thing: a stubborn jerk. He never knew when he was beat, could never admit defeat and covered it all up by being a plain out asshole. It was never his effort that held him back, rather his ego. He was a constant reminder that being a prick will literally get you no where.

All joking aside, I am no fan of tattoo's, but you shouldn't be making your choice as a result of what people say here. If you want a Vegeta logo, or whatever it is, on your chest and you feel good doing it then go for it.
This is gonna stay with you a lifetime. A lifetime of explaining you tattooed a symbol from a children's cartoon to your chest because you think it represents determination. A lifetime of being judged by people who don't even know you. (You think everyone thinks a tattoo is cool? Think again. I think it's retarded, hate me for it but it's a truth you will have to embrace sooner or later. People are not always fascinated by a tattoo. I judge immediately, and with me a lot of other people.)
