Yeah well,

I'm a country boy, not used to fireworks being very close to me. Then when me and my friends went for the big show at the Rotterdam Erasmus Bridge, shit went down.

People where throwing nitrate on the street behind us, with massive blows. Smoke covered the street and cars couldn't pass. All those damn people were lighting their fireworks and I was scared as **** some retard would throw it in the crowd and tons of people would get injured, most notably me and my face.

The show itself was also not what I expected, the NL is also feeling the credit crisis. Was a bit of a let down too.
So, then we moved a bit to get away from the Gaza Strip behind us, to watch the show a bit safer. While watching I felt something between my legs that almost gave me a heart attack, turned out to be a balloon but still scared the **** outta me I thought it was nitrate.

Completely in shock, we went to the Gay Palace, and on the way there some guy also threw fireworks out of a car even closer to us, and I felt a shard against my hand. Even more in shock we went on. I couldn't say a word.

And well, the club was also completely empty so no fun at all, + some older issues in my personal life and a huge stomachache so we went back to the hotel at 3am.

The best thing of the whole weekend: some random black dude with a gay voice summing up the whole travel plan of the Dutch Railways and then started singing a song from a Belgian girl group who are very popular with kids.

as for me, THIS YEAR NEW YEARS WAS THE BOMB. Well, I'm not the party guy much, I'm more like gatherings and stuff but hey, my girlfriend was there, some of my friends and my parents had fun. Compared to last year pfft... We just moved to a new country, new house, new neighborhood in NYE. No internet, no TV, at least we got electricity... Jesus.
