Bumpinbg to say if he's Australian than he really should be checking out MSY like Fury suggested. It's pretty hard to hard individual components in Australia cheaper than MSY and they even have a few pre-builds (not recommended). If you want to save money, it's your best bet.

Why? It's not hard to build a computer together at all. And for 2k? I don't know how much pc parts are there, but I don't think it'll cost anywhere near that. As for maxing out BF3 no one really knows what is required other than the tweet of "You'll be safe with 2 580s." That max is tessellation, AA, etcetc.
