Idk the point of saying goodbye on a forum, i mean on a game maybe, but on a forum its a few people giving a shit and the rest wondering who you are (not directed at anyone, just answering the OP)

Say goodbye because that way you won't make them worry/asking about you. As time is money, you lose 5 min but every save 5 min. In overall, it's 5*nb_visitors - 5 money saved.

If you don't know you'll come back or not. Just take a break.

well i have put some of my friends in that exact same position my internet recently went out (tried switching providers to get a slightly faster connection (100mbps just isnt fast enough to run game servers sadly..) and now i cant get any internet atm because there ports are all taken)
if it were me i would like a goodbye
